What is the Silverbrook Website Referral Scheme?
Referrals are a key part of any businesses growth and where possible I try to make sure I give the right recommendations to my business connections to help them. With the Silverbrook Website Referral Scheme I’m looking to take this one step further by paying a commission to people who put in the effort to find me new website customers.
Who can take part?
I’m looking to find one or two people who can work with me to help grow my business, and be rewarded accordingly.
What is involved?
The main task would involve identifying businesses or organisations who would want my services, making contact with them and lining them up to take up a website project with Silverbrook. The potential client needs to be someone I’m not already under discussions with regarding a website project (if in doubt, please check with me first – my plans are to create a CRM system so you would be able to check if they are on there).
This can easily be done in your spare time or as complementary to your existing business and you wouldn’t be tied into a minimum amount of projects etc.
What are the rewards?
Once they successfully convert to take up a website project with Silverbrook, I would then pay the finder a percentage of the project costs as their commission.
Please note this commission percentage is an example at this stage and will be confirmed when someone joins the programme.
The finder would make contact with the potential client and find out their website requirements and then deliver those detailed requirements to me to provide a formal proposal. Once the website goes live (and the client pays their invoice) the finder would receive 15% of the website project costs.
If the finder prefers just to make the introduction to me, then once the website goes live (and the client pays their invoice) the finder would receive 5% of the website project costs instead.
This commission would also apply to my Pay Monthly website offering, i.e. the finder would receive a percentage of the monthly website costs whilst the client remains an active client of mine (the minimum contract for monthly clients is 30 months); it’s suggested that these payments will be made every 3 months.
Average website costs are £770 for up-front payment costs and £70 a month for Pay Monthly sites.
The commission would be based on the website build costs and not on hosting or support fees.
Who can apply?
I’m looking to work with 1 or 2 people who are prepared to understand my brand and ethos and the services I provide, which would make their conversations with prospective clients a lot easier. Over time as they understand my business and the different website services I can do, this will make it easier for them to sell my services to other people.
I would provide a unique referral reference number and if required a page on my website unique to the finder which the finder can refer clients to.
I’m ideally looking for people in different networking circles and/or geographical locations to me.
